robot camera

Article about: hey guys, thise camera was offered to me just a while ago....(not shure he still got it for the momment!!) at 250 euro. It isn't marked in anyway with a swas or what ever related to the TR..

    hey guys,
    thise camera was offered to me just a while ago....(not shure he still got it for the momment!!) at 250 euro.
    It isn't marked in anyway with a swas or what ever related to the TR...
    What do you think about it, can it be post war made?

    I can't help you sorry, cameras is not really my thing. the only comment that i can give you is about the lack of TR markings : that's a good thing...

    I don't think this camera is worth that much dough !

    Not too sure why all the military related/associated subjects are being
    used in the ads because it is not a 'military camera', unless it was
    just a sales pitch to lure a soldier into buying one.

    I think these ads are being used as a sales pitch once more,
    to jack up the price of a $40 'antique' camera.......

    Only the WWII era Leica camera is of superior quality to merit such price
    and perhaps even higher in some instances, IMO.

    The 'light meter' that comes with this one is probably post war I'm sure.

    If military used ; I would expect a marking like on the binoculars; "dienstglas".

    Yes, something like that - the equvalent of a 'Waffenamt' stamp/impression.

    I like the ads better than the camera......................!
