I have a feeling that August Stukenbrok may well have been a retailer than a manufacturer.

    Stukenbrok

My German is a bit rusty but the translation of the Wiki link I think says that the company started by making bicycles and then became a general sporting goods mail order company.

What are the gun laws in Ireland? I should know but I never got a straight answer when I looked it up on Google.

    Cheers, Pat

I don't think you can go much further without doing harm. It is in a 'semi relic'
state, and any more tinkering will damage it's original form - it would then
be considered 'over-cleaned'. The pitting goes deeper than the
    surface rust.

Looks to be a fairly small caliber ( as most of these are ) but I don't know
the European equivalent of .25 or .32, which is what I'm guessing it is.
Measure the bore in millimeters. It could even be as small as .22
    Regards,

    Steve.
