    Indeed, as Vegar has stated, it is a D.A.F. bowl. Nice condition too.

    Why is "Germany" written in English? I would have expected "Deutchsland" great looking plate though.

    Rosenthal, German for "Rose Valley", is a German founded company that started way back in the 19th Century. A brief search of their markings will show that the word "GERMANY" is common. So it is correct. Why however, is another matter...
