After having seen the same mark on the cartridge cases and such, I reserve my judgment. Maybe it did exist.
But I defer to others. I have offered my evidence from my collection.

Only original stamp I have observed in fifty years and I mean only one is the example FB shows runes in circle type on a s84/98 combat frog that was a vet bring back I think George Wheeler address this in his book "Seitengewher 1919 to 1945 on the chapter on frogs. I have seen a picture of similar stamp on KS 98 dress frog. timothy
An inventory of an Allgemeine SS Sturmbann in the Rheinland ca. early 1936 gives you an idea of what items were kept in quarter master stores at this echelon.

How this data relates to what staff and troops, as such, served at the SS Wirtschaftsbetriebe Dachau I will leave to others.
Maybe one of you has the table of distribution and equipment, i.e. Staerkenachweis for this unit?

My extra Seitengewehr with the knot and the stamp came with this black SSVT uniform, and it appeared four decades ago.

Hi, your thread was moved because this item is neither an SS uniform nor an item of SS insignia. I also altered the title as "SS leather stamp" needed to be clarified as to what it was upon.
It could have been placed here in this forum or in the Third Reich edged weapons section of the forum. By careful placement of a thread, you will get the attention of specialists in the correct field.
Thread titles and placement are often vital for a successful outcome.

The WBD markings on this frog are a fake... looks self made... not with a stamp. Worse made and realy easy to recognize.
On frogs you can find only SS-RZM (Reichzeugmeisterei) and SS-VA (Versorgungsamt) stamps.
The real SS-WB markings (Wirtschafts- und Bekleidungsamt) you can find on clothing and equipment.
VA as pertains to the SS is Verwaltungsamt, not Versorgungsamt. The Versorgungswesen in the SS command was otherwise organized.
