    Thanks guys. I had completely forgotten the cyanide container option as I thought they were always converted rifle brass, which this obviously isn't. I will see if I can ge some more pics. As it comes with what appears to be a ground dug buckle, I am guessing an Eastern Euro connection somewhere maybe??

    These are interesting and have had mine since 1960. They are heavily faked today and not aware of specific criteria to determine auth. Usually the SS is central like a primer would be on a cartridge.

    Anyone know how many were made? Did every officer get given one incase of capture?
