    Default Stielhandgranate case

This is an attic find from 2010. I had already been up there once, and found an old suitcase with old family pictures(Including one picture from my grandfather in the army in the 1930s). I was really bored one day, and decided to have another look. My dad told me not to bother, but you can bet I was happy when I pulled it out.

If you have any pictures of one filled up in all its pride, don't be afraid to share pictures

Very nice Vegar there seems to be plenty of metal Stiehlhandgranate cases around but not many wooden ones , a great find !

    Hello,
I used to know an old fenchman who used to serve with the resistance who had two of these wooden boxes underneath his bed. Just in case germans were coming back. Of course boxes were not empty...
    Thanks

Hello, this kind of box is rare in France, because they were used between the factory and the front. At this place they were used for fire and kitchen...I have one like you but not so "beautiful".
