Tactical Map Marking?

Guys,

Having had a passing interest in previous life in this sort of thing, I kind of like this item.

Made for and aimed at the military market as can be seen from the name 'Eberhard Faber* Taktik'. I think they are war time plastic but may be post war? I don't think they had much interest in tactical map marking post war. The leather case looks right and would compliment any map case?

Could be WWII. I know the contents of the Nachrichtentasche make reference to three colors of pencil. NH
