Thoughts of SS named Gas mask
Can I ask for you guys feeling about the SS name tag in this gas mask?
When looked up the feld post number in the German stempeldatenbank I received the following info:
Verwender: Postamt | Verwendung als: Aufgabestempel, Tagesstempel 1.9.1939-1.1.1940 8. Schwadron Kavallerie-Schützen-Regiment 10. 25.9.1940-15.2.1941 10. Kompanie Schützen-Regiment 10.
15.2.1942-30.7.1942 8. Kompanie Schützen-Regiment 10, dann 8. Kompanie Panzergrenadier-Regiment 10. Typ: K1 (Einkreis Rundstempel) / Form: Kreisstempel
Verwendungszeit: 1.9.1939 bis 21.5.1945
Thanks in advance for your thoughts and good Sunday,

Is that the correct spelling of his first name> I thought it should have an "e" in it?
The FP number has nothing to do with the data on the paper.
The whole thing is bogus in my opinion.
Had good advice? Saved money? Why not become a Gold Club Member, just hit the green "Join WRF Club" tab at the top of the page and help support the forum!
Why Totenkopf on the paper, so it's possible to know the unity.
Also, why add "Krakau"? It's not like if someone found it they'd return it to Krakow and "Fridrich" would get it back --- the FP# would follow the unit so it seems wholly redundant to me. I'm with the others, bogus name tag.
You have some good/rational points! Thanks for your respond guys, I will leave it.
Anyway, apart from everything else, the FP has nothing to do with the SS
(Mobilmachung-1.1.1940) 8. Schwadron Kavallerie-Schützen-Regiment 10,
(25.9.1940-15.2.1941) 10. Kompanie Schützen-Regiment 10,
(15.2.1942-30.7.1942) 8. Kompanie Schützen-Regiment 10,
dann 8. Kompanie Panzergrenadier-Regiment 10.

The runes look to be hand inked on. Why would they not be typed as the rest of it was? The typer did not Have an SS Key on his typewriter? Rubbish..

hey ho,why don't they leave alone.
