Does the US mask still have it's satchel carrier, and is the rubber lining inside it still pliable?

CORRECTION: Its not a WW1 Doughboy Mask, its a WW2 civilian mask

Well, in that case, unless you like and collect gas masks alot, I would have to say nope. The civilian masks are common and easy to find. They do not bring a whole lot of money.

Yeah. I wouldn't do it either. IMO the US civilian mask are all over here and nobody wants them. They are often found in almost perfect shape. Many of these sat in old bomb/fallout shelters around here until the late 80's when the cold war came to an end. The shelters were emptied out by the government. When I worked for the local Sheriff's office I was given a bunch of this stuff by the local civil defense guy. They were just going to throw it away.
I can't throw a rock in a antique shop with out hitting one.
German WW 2 mask are very hard to find in my area though.

yeah i realized that the second i learned that it was a M1A2. I just traded it with my friend for a lot of other WW2 millataria, like US army HBTs, an Ike jacket, a Nazi dime, and a modern day field cap. We went on ebay and looked at the price together and we came up with a good deal.
