    Default U-Boat Binoculars

I believe these are the third Model/Type.

This Binocular has a distinctive dark red anti-reflective Lens surface coating, inside and out.

Normal 7x50 blc Binoculars had a dark blue or purple coating.

The dark red type are found on late war Binoculars, made after the serial numbers 61200 (?).

Any ideas as to why these had the red coating applied??

The optics on these binoculars are in absolutely pristine condition.

At one time I had six pair of these binoculars

The red was for low light conditions, if I remember right. Nice binoculars!

It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.

Very Nice - That is one variation that I do not have in my binocular collection.
