The 7x50 Leitz binos were, indeed, used by the German Navy, but not exclusively. The Naval pieces that are the most sought after are the rubber armoured ones-these are the ones that are generally associated with the U-Boats. The pair pictured above could have been used in any one of many different branches and services. Depending on what markings this pair have, they could be Navy or Army or who knows? And even if they Are naval marked, it does not mean they were Definitely used in the submarines.

Hello these are U. Boat binoculars, somewhere on the front plates you should find UDF 7 x 50 with either BLC. Or or karlziess Jena . They were made of solid Bronz as they bolted to the conning tower. Would love to see more pictures of these binoculars if you want more info on these binos PM ......
