    Thanks Guys.

The pair I have bought comes in the case I mentioned with the wartime dated part.

    Cheers, Ade.

Photos as promised now we have some decent daylight.

The catch to the case is marked frn44. Same as often found on respirator tins. Makers info:

    Federn-, Draht- und Metallwarenfabrik
    Rudolf Lang
    Brandenburg/Havel, Koppelstraße 5-7

The case was, as you can see, originally black, but now faded to brown.

The binos themselves are in great condition with nice dunklegelb paint and complete with strap and rubber lens cover.

Very happy to have these in my collection.

    Cheers, Ade.

Super. Interesting to see a set with no markings like a manufacturer code or Dienstglas! NH

These are exactly like mine, no other markings except 6x30, I,m pretty sure that these are Voightlander make, as described to me at Odessy

Wow, nice case! Unusual glasses! I've never seen a set. What's weird is the use of leather this late in the game. Usually all bakelite by then, but the latch code confirms it. In amazing condition to boot, a GREAT addition to a collection!
