Hi Ingrid, the radios are fantastic and your english is excellent, thank you for posting. Don't be so critical of your hard earned language skills! The "overlay" he mentioned means paint or decals on the surface of the radio behind the control dials or knobs. To the best of my knowledge, there was no decoration behind the control knobs on these models. I always wondered how these were suppose to be the "Peoples Radio" when the darn things sold for 50 RM. That was alot of money in 1938.

The overlays i mentioned were plastic self-adhesive panels not paint etc which came with these sets indicating volume, stations, etc

Oh, I know what you mean Outpost. Well that's the only thing I
    don't have for these radios.

Militarymania; that's about the same price I have paid for each one. I don't know if it's a good price. I just bought them, because I wanted them so badly!!!
Ask Martin (mauser98k), he has one too. Maybe he can help you.

    Thanks for all the comments!!!

    Hi Ingrid
Mine is in much the same condition as yours, I paid £120 from Ebay but it was badly handled in the post and the speaker inside came loose and done damage to the interior. I kept it because it fits in well with the rest of my collection.

I myself had some bad experiences with the post in the past. The last time they lost my Mas36 bayonet, you know what they said?! "Sorry, it was a cylindrical package, which easily rolls away."
    What a nonsense!!!
Fortunately they found the package after a few days.

Even if there is some damage, it's still nice for display.

    Hi Ingrid
I have moved into new house and now I can get my bit of a collection back on show. While setting it up I remembered that I was going to show you my radio. You can see the damage on the speaker front that was caused by delivery.
I don,t mind as I like it for what it is a piece of History.
