Just the same covers were found in Belarus on excavation. There also there are no squeezed-out maker marks.

In my opinion, the cover that opened this thread is a wonderful and mint late war simplified example. This simplified version does also exist in yellow pressed cardboard. Both examples are shown in my forthcoming book that will be released in Feb. 2014.
Please, gentlemen, remember that it's not because you've never seen something that it does not exist.
and please remember as well that a lack of markings does not mean reproduction, many original items do not bear production markings...
