Nice find,,how much did you give for it? I have one WH wasser can, panzer black, with white crosses sparayed on,,and two gasoline Jerrys,,will see if I can snap a few pics of them today

I also have a black with white cross example on the back of my 1943 GPW, adds a little colour! Thats a nice condition example you got there though

I think thats what they go for here in Norway too. I was lucky and got mine off farmers in the area and found one of them in a barn I searched once

You've acquired a genuine piece, well done. It is an AMBI-BUDD (Berlin Presswerk) example. Sadly, it has been painted over - the Wasserkanister was always marked with a large white "+" symbol - as can be seen on examples shown in the link. A white "w" was often painted underneath the handle section too.
