Hey guys, i recently brought a selection of TR items most of which have adler stamps on them. Firstly i was just wondering if you guys could give me some more information about the pieces i have brought (e.g. what the box was used for?) Also do you think that the pieces are genuine?
    Thanks, Glen.

IMO, the only authentic piece is the tinnie, which has been
defaced and is missing it's pin.........

    I'll take a shot here.
Friend there is no reason for any of these items to be stamped with a swastika by their manufacturers.
The fakers today put spurious stamps on items of little or no value just to take advantage of unknowing collectors.
I am afraid that is the situation here. Sorry pal.

Ah, i see... i was hoping that they were marked as property of the Wehrmacht.
    Thanks, Glen.

If unsure (even just 1%), post them on here first Glen. Doesn't matter how insignificant they seem to be, or how cheap they are, which I hope that these were. As said above, all manner of markings can be found on replica/fantasy items. It helps to study the item, and the markings that should be present before you consider a bid/purchase.

    Regards,

    Carl

What has been said above are my thoughts as well.

There are a lot of bogus items like these which have been floating around
for the last 5 to 10 years or so - ashtrays, clocks, cigarette cases, pocket
watch covers, etc. Some even have fake SS runes, national eagles and
    submarine badges soldered onto them.........
    Regards,

    Steve.
