    I believe this is the standard Army Model 28 Walther Heeres Leuchtpistole/Flare Gun...

    As Glenn says standard model flare pistol used by the Wermacht forces in WW2 should have a three letter code on side and Waa early ones were full name maker marked I have a Walther banner pre war model but still has the military Waa proofs on it. Nice pistol BTW. I used to try and collect them years back by maker and year on some of them. Nice pistol BTW. timothy

    Indeed a LP34

    Not possible to identify further because of the lack of detail in the pictures (maker mark, etc)

    I had one of these that was post war German, NVA I think it was. So this model was continued after the war.
    Not saying this one is post-war, you should look at the markings for that, but mine was post-war and only had the makers mark on it.
