Hey guys I found this item in the bottom of a foot locker that I have had for awhile and I have always wondered what it is. It seems to be made from very soft leather and is stamped on the inside. I always thought it was a money belt but thought maybe somebody could fill me in?? Thanks!

Looks indeed like a home-made money belt, or a re-worked
set of pouches with fake stamps.........

Yes, interesting that it is covered in stamps. I wouldn't expect that (why do it?). The stamp markings appear to be early pattern eagles too, maybe because the belt is brown and somebody was trying to pass it off as S.A....? Just a thought...but I would be wary of this item. Wait for more opinions though.

    Regards,

    Carl

I too find the stamps highly suspect.

    Cheers, Ade.

i don't like the stamps but look at the strap (it seems a lot newer and a lot more like an american strap (look on a tompson mag pouch the fabric is the same)along with the stichinng being a lot newer and a lot thicker)

oh yeah and why would you stamp every part with a eagle you might stamp once or twice but not that many
