    Hi All, I'm currently looking into German army supplied goggles. I know they used different types and even Rommel wore British ones with his headgear, But was there a particular type worn with the pith helmet in Afrika? You see all different types displayed by collectors but I would like some other opinions on this.     Yes they are original.
    No not necessarily used in North Africa - they are just general purpose sun & dust goggles.
    Watch out for strap damage - these look like the left end is just about to break from rust damage ( and the elastic is almost always on the way out )
