    Hello all! I would like to hear opinions on these shoes. They are said to be WW2 Era German Officer dress shoes. There is a photo in the Heer Kliederklasse list of 1937 with a pic of the shoes. What do you all think about these? Thanks for your time and opinions.

    Even a bigger LOL. I wore that type in the 70's as hand me downs from my older brother until I got his platforms.

    I have a pair of USAAF shoes of that same design. It must of been popular during that time frame and it lasted decades!

    We still wear boots like that down here in Aus, not a bad pair if you ask me.

    But...to answer your question,Tony (didn't mean to get sidetracked!) I'm not seeing how they can be definitely attributed to German WWII Officers specifically, seeing as how they have been a very long lived and popular style both in the various militarys around the world and the civilian population as well. Without markings to say one way or the other, I wouldn't invest much money into them,myself.
