You might search Luftwaffe gloves , due to the blue grey colour . I do like the snaps , the spring buckles are similar to ones I've seen on 70's ski retention straps but these might have been an older design . Good luck in your search .
I'm uncertain as to whether these are specific motorcyclist's gloves, but they were certainly used by German motorcyclists, particularly on the Eastern Front. The 'mitten' design of the fingers excluding the forefinger/thumb ( to operate the grip controls ) is characteristic.
( Note : manufacturers markings can sometimes be found inked onto the lining, just inside the sleeve opening ).
THX for the replies, I only have these seller's pics, and biding will be over very soon, so I have no time to ask him reg. ink stamp markings.
So would you guys say these are WW2 made originals?
I did check Lufty gloves, I didn't find an exact match.
I'm sorry Fabe - I just don't have the knowledge to be 100% sure, so I'm very reluctant to give a recommendation. If it were me, I'd buy if they weren't too expensive and take the risk. But otherwise, I'd need to handle them and research more. I have seen others at Continental fairs, so if this pair is expensive it's maybe best to be patient......
I couldn't have put it better , items like these are very hard to pin down if not marked , having not changed much in manufacture post-war .
