    Default WW2 ski boots?

Hey guys - I posted this thread over at the 'Axis Forces' - but sank quickly...so I'll try it here a well

Just picked these up (came with a Hungarian set of army-marked (1940) ski - probably civilian boots used by the soldier...

I've done some re-search, but still need to find out if it's really pre-1945 made?

    Brand is: "REIKER" (German made)
    size is: 10 (?) (43 in EU)
    Factory lot num. in both: "10 F 223 446 10"
    "KOLUMBUS" marking on the nose-plate

    THX in advance!

Civilian most likely. The sole design and lack of nails make it pretty clear. This is the type used with Kandahar bindings. You have the toe hardware and the recess in the heel present to lock the boot into the binding. Papa Kiser should chime in. NH

    THX for the input!
It's ok if civilian, in the war (and least here in Hungary) the troops used anything they could get their hands on.
My main concern: is it a wartime, pre-1945 made boot?

    Cheers,
    Fabe

Anyone else could place an aprx. date on these boots, pre-1945 or post-war? THX!
