Zelt or tent

I have this what looks like a splinter pattern Zelt but its square with no hole for the head. Were these used for tents or is it a private made item or were they issued? It is RB numbered.

As far as im aware these are the "alter art" zelts. They were made at the same time as the triangle M31 but it was used mostly by the technical troops as a base on the ground for radios and such equipment?

Weren't the RAD tents made to a similar pattern? i.e. not triangular but in "tent" style?

For example when you see lets say on helmet liners 64/57 n.A., that is neue Art (new type); this one being an oposite (old type).

Presumably they were called as such to differ when written in the soldbuch when issued; from the new (standard) triangle zelts.
