    Default Zeltbahn stamp

    Hello to you all gentlemen;
    I bought a M31 zeltbahn, now on the way, which bears only "B 35" stamped on it (at least, so stated the seller).
    Could it be a maker stamp?

    Production code and the year...in my opinion. This was before they went to RB Numbers...

    you're welcome and if you don't find a maker's mark in one of these two corners, dont bother to look further...especially for very early examples...
    Thanks

    Not to hijack your post, but I just picked up some pieces of Zeltbahn. Anyone know about this stamp?

    I'm not an expert, but it's a RBNr code stamp. Basically, a numeral code assigned to a specific wermacht's maker/supplier; this code system was adopted around 1943, instead the full name maker's stamp.
