    Default Zeltbahns & Accessories Added

Over the past year I have been on a Field Gear binge and next to edged weapons it is one of my favorite WWII Militaria sectors to hunt for. I was searching for a couple clean, minty Zeltbahns and some of their accessories. Here are some pictures of what I added to my Field Gear Collection recently over the past 2-3 weeks.

The M31 Splinter Pattern Zeltbahn is marked - Textilwerke - Karl Anton Henschel - Kassel 1942 from what I can make out
2 Leather Straps are marked. One with an ink stamp I can't quite make out and one stamped with 0/0378/0007
The Gray Zeltbahn is marked: "Warei" - Patentzelte - Walter Reichert - BERLIN NW 40 (NW 40 was the Lehrter Bahnhof district)
    6 Zeltpflocken 29 - Tent Stakes are marked: 1935 (L & F), 1937 (FEF / R & S) & 1939 (G K & F)
    4 Zeltstock 01 - Tent Poles are nice. 1 has initials H.H. and one does have a marking of - H T N 1936
The Zeltleine 92 - Tent woven hemp rope is in great shape with the looped ends.

    Hope you like them,

    Thanks, Rossi

    Thanks Michael,

    Okay...Here is a picture of the set-up....

In my office / war room of course. Maybe someday I will put up in the front yard and freak out the neighbors. I will send pictures in July when there is no snow.

    Nice acquisitions mate!
Now you need some of the bakelite wartime pegs to go with it.

You have to wonder-just how many times were some of those pegs hammered into the dirt....and even more curious....where at? A nice grouping! Well done!
