Finnish Collar Tabs

Article about: Would anyone comment as to whether any of these Finnish collar tabs are authentic WW2 and which are post WW2? Sorry no photos of the backings but some have a sort of burlap backing and some

Mind me asking, but how can you tell...? You know the source they came from?

Fair enough, I haven't handled enough originals to be able to tell post war and war time ones from each other in some cases. Just got curious on these.

Collar tabs of Lieutenant of Artillery from a vets son. He served in the 3rd battery of the 3rd Field Artillery Regiment and fought at Svir and the Karelian Isthmus during the Continuation War. Note the different styles of rank pips due to shortages.

With the information I had, I was able to find a photo of the original owner most likely wearing these tabs.

"The Battery of Forssa" being demobilized, 3rd Battery of Artillery Regiment 3 (III/KTR3).
