Finnish EM34 german made rangefinder

Got my hands something awesome yesterday. Finnish used EM34 rangefinder. Sadly no only other related items were with it. With carrier box 9kg and 84centimters long. Optics works

From what I have learned from finnish numbering logic, this is 59'th rangefinder of this model, not 1059 as it reads.

In finnish manual, it stated this to be used with Light artillery, heavy mortal and bazooka








Interesting that carrier case has ammo pouch carrier hooks. And backside most likely hold 1meter long three-pod legs.

In german doctrinal use, finnish manual specified "light artillery, heavy mortal and bazooka", after war manual. Safe to assume that it was used with direct fire / anti-tank guns. Only ground targets.
Person could specify distance up to 10 kilometers with EM34, most accurate at distance of 2km. After distance of 3km the accuracy decreases rapidly.

Small update, found matching Carl Zeiss tripod, came directly from Austria.
Now it is much better display piece.
