My latest acquirement.
A Finnish M36 tunic. Manufactued in 1938. It belonged to Eino Ensio Piironen, a Finnish infantry second-lieutenant, who served in Northern-Karelia, Rukajärvi. He was part of the 14th Division. He participated in the Battle of Pallo. Pallo was a Finnish military base in Rukajärvi, Eastern Front. One of the hardest artillery barrages per square meter was shot there. The base was surrounded by swamp.
After the fierce battles Soviet soldier began to call Pallo, as the ''Hill of agony''.
Eino received various medals during the war. There are spots on the tunic, where clearly have been awards.
P.S It is only size 46A, so he was a small man.
