Hello all, I have this small insignia but I don't know what it is. It was found in a Finnish position north of Saint Petersburg Russia If anyone can tell me anything about it I would be grateful.
Cheers!

Any Ideas on this? No one has seen anything like this before?
Thanks for moving it to the correct sub-forum!
That´s a very strange item by itself but it could be part of a watch fob which was a common field made item among Finnish soldiers when the front against St Petersburg stood still between 1942 and 1944.
Best,
Jan
No it is not a part of watch fob. Those are some kind a official tax or insurance or so plates.
I have had them from years -40,-41 but I cant remember the context..

Thanks for the replies, so is it a stamp?
Apparently state related and not military if Irsto is correct and he probably is.
Best,
Jan
Well Thanks all! I will keep it with my other Finnish goodies!
