I'm about to make a display of Finnish war stuff. in memory of my great-grandfather. who fought in both the Finnish Winter War and Continuation War.
sadly, all his belongings have been discarded by my relatives in Finland. but I have replaced all his medals and unifromers with new ones. Here are some pictures I just took with my phone.

My great-grandfather did fought with 5D 1.kkk/Jr13 on the Karelian Isthmus in the battel of Kärstiläjärvi 1939.
and in 1941 i fought with the 6D 2/jr54 in the battel of Kaakkurilampi, Kuorekevaara and Nenäpalo.

thank you very much. and i am very proud of him. I can tell you a little about his duties during the war. in the Winter War, he was a rifleman and truck driver in a heavy machine gun company, probably a Maxim MG. He fought against the Russian 123D in the area of Viipuri. in the Continuation War, he helped cut off the roads so the Russians could not flank the Germans "6th SS Mountain Division Nord" army when they regain a town called Salla in northern Finland.
