Two battlefield finds
Im not sure if they're Swedish M37's or Finnish M40's, but these were found in late 1960's from Kilpelänkangas, border of Finland and Russia. These were found from the same place as a SSH36 I also bought. Heavy battles were fought there especially in 1939-1940.
The insides have been painted postwar, but im trying to remove the paint. The other one still retains its pads and chinstrap. It looks like they were covered when the owner painted the inside of the shell.

Nice find ,there must have been alot of items left on the battlefields and would have been nice pickings in the 1950s and 1960s
That would've been like a dream for todays collector..
Anyways, now to remove my SSH36's postwar paint and after that, is those Finnish helmets' turn.
