Beautiful. I love these !! Have had many. Bought my first one in 1970 for $10.00

The "Brass" police emblem is unique. Have never seen that style

    Thanks for showing

Very nicely conditioned Polizei bayonet. Do the reverse crossguard & top scabbard fitting have matching numbers/letters?

The knot is inappropriate, technically speaking. It is for a long model fire bayonet.

The grip emblem is also incorrect. This larger brass shield type is typically seen on a Polizei sword & not a service bayonet. Many of these bayonets have been denazified by vets so I suspect this one was available as a replacement & added postwar. This is a common occurance actually.
