ID Patch Please

Hi,

Please help me ID this Russian patch. Is it general service or?? Is it WWII vintage?

Looks like a home made, but it is pretty cool.

I don't know for sure, but doubt it is actually Soviet, as it uses western letters, rather than Cyrillic. Cyrillic would be CCCP, rather than URSS, and I suspect it is not U.S., or British, as they tended to refer the SU, as USSR, so whose it is is not clear, at least to me, but it is pretty cool!
