info on storing flags?

just need some info on storing flags as I have purchased one. I can't hang it up so how can I store it safely?. any replies appreciated.

Most people store them rolled up to avoid stress on the material caused by folding.

I have mine rolled up, in correct military fashion.... Then stored in a vacuum sealed bag in a nice dry place out of direct sunlight
