WW2 small Soviet Flag

THis was brought back by a German veteran. It's 32 x 53" printed on both sides.

I presume it was a military flag. It's made with a stencil (Schablone). and hemmed on three sides so it was made to be flown...and the material condition in the corners indicates it was flown. Perhaps it was used on a vehicle.
