Any Idea What this is?

Hey guys,

I am going nuts over here trying to figure out what the flag was for. I am at a total loss. The yellow and red stripes reminded me of the south Vietnamese flag, but thats not it. Any input would be much appreciated!

Looks like a possible vehicle pennant (due to the leather reinforcement) or perhaps a table flag for the President of South Vietnam. It possesses many of the features of this flag. Or it could be one of the military branches' leader's flag as they differ in background's coloring and a few design features. Google South Vietnam Presidential Flag and you will see what I am referring to.

Thanks Lance! South Vietnam was my original guess, but i could not find a photo with the eagle. Appreciate the help!
