Building banner!

Article about: just picked up this banner a few days ago, seems to be real. just like to know if i am correct. the size is 12' x 7', looks to have had a tag on the stiching, buts its been riped off. thanks

    Looks like a nice RD flag! But I think it's a not building flag, that kind of flags was used also by Kriegsmarine, or by burrial of the NSDAP leaders etc

    That is a nazi goverment building flag.They flew over goverment buildings.

    For my own information would the Kriegsmarine stampings be on the flag itself ? I never seen one like this until John showed it to me, now I am learning some thing new.

    Hi John, the Reichsdienstflagge was adopted on October 31st 1935. It was used by various Govt organisations and was flown from the buildings of the civil administration, Post Office, Reichbahn, Reichbank, Reichsautobahn, etc. It was also used at sea by Govt owned vessels but not on warships.
