An earlier patriotic flag for the window, perhaps? I like the construction and am quite sure it's a good one...looks like an earlier piece, say 1935ish, in my opinion.

There is a paper version being offered at MILI321 now. I wouldn't say 1935 though, thats too late to find a patriotic item, swas- together with the old national flag. Will be around the start of the 30`s, possibly into 1933, but more realistically around the 1932 figure. In 1933 there was a new national flag, so a flag of this kind, would be before or around the date of change (mid 1933) imho
I was reminded of this propaganda stamp in my collection, dated 1938...
cheers, Glenn
Looks like an imperial German flag but with a Hakenkreuz sewn on.
Hi Glenn, i was going on old catalogs that depict flags. Ones of this nature are encountered frequently in the per 1933 catalogs, and into 1933 and beyond you see the old flag dissapearing and being replaced by the new national flag. If we are talking about propaganda items in general now, i would also stay around 1933.
Can you explain just how the stamp in your post is marked/dated?
Regarding authenticity of the shown flag in post 1. i will say nothing, as i would not know.
Here is a photo of the card...I have another one dated 1936...
cheers, Glenn
Aaah, OK, could just as well be old stock as much as it could be "aktuell". These kind of anti-jewish remarks were popular in the early years as well as later on.
