    Hello,

Thought I'd share a couple of photos of my newly acquired Württembergische Cattunmanufactur Heidenheim Brz - made Führer Standarte. This one is the size Gr 2 which was 100cm x 100cm (roughly 36" x36"). It is an outdoor type flag, made of single thickness linen. There are a few moth bites but it is in very good condition for a flag more than 75-85 years old. This is a flag that would only have been flown in the presence of Hitler himself, either on a warship or building.

I don't condone anything the Nazi's or Hitler did, but I might frame this to be displayed with my military flag collection since it is such an historic war-relic. It deserves to be preserved.

Thanks for all the nice comments. The flag is very interesting and has the feel of history. It is a well made flag, using a canvas header and printed on linen. It is a vintage piece and not a Pakistani fake! Ha. Once this ridiculous coronavirus scare is over I will have the art gallery that does my flag framing get this done and I will share the pix.

You all take care and stay healthy.

Sweet pick up and one I believe should be collected from a historic stand point.

A question that should be reserved for PM’s. She is a beauty.
