    Just as I figured. They are the same as the repro type on the site you mentioned......

    I wish I could tell you that getting burned is the initiation to this hobby but it doesn't stop. You really have to look at as many known good items as you can. Invest in books, talk to folks, stay with forums like this, go to shows and study. That is true for every collecting hobby. When something developes a value some azzhole will find a way to reproduce it.
    As a personal note I still get nailed occasionally.

    I've been into medals and insignia for thirty years or so.
    Collecting out of my scope or area and impulse buying is what happened.

    Still, not all bad considering what I paid for the lot........................
