A vehicle flag with a bit of history, this flag was taken from Generalleutnant Hermann Plocher's vehicle when he surrendered to the Canadians
in Holland, May 1945. I was lucky in that Doug B (Canada) allowed me to be the next custodian of this piece of history, it was Doug that picked the
flag up from the son of the man who brought the flag back to Canada with him at the end of the war.
Plocher was the Commanding general of the 6th FJ Division in Holland at that time.
I will include the letter from the son as well, the Canadian soldier (Cedric Gallant) won it from the guy who took it off the car, that night in a card
game ! The son (Joe) wrote the letter.
