Really nice piece, I love to read the names and places of the soldiers who signed the flag just to see where they are from. I have never really found anyone close to my area but it is fun to see and read these items. Really nice display as well. You have a great collection going. Good luck with your collecting!

Nice display, great pieces.
That's a great banner - the rest of your collection ain't bad either.........!

Nice banner, the GI names makes this one of a kind, looks good on the sword too.
Very nice piece, does it say where and when it was signed?
I found a signed and dated podium banner captured in Coblenz in '45. It is very cool to find names and places of enlistment that match up in NARA.
JUST noticed the date and VE Day markings. Love that it is unit marked as well.
Regards,
John
Very nice banner.

Here is a close up with a couple of dates......I cant stop looking at it in my room lol
A great flag, the GI markings give it a lot more history and make it unique.
A cool" been there done that" artifact and a trophy to come home with. It doesnt get any more real than that with many GIs authenticating it with their signatures. Nice find! Regards Larry
