    Default HJ pennant ??

I was just given this by the son of the vet who brought it back.

Is this a car pennant? I assume it's HJ because of the white diamond.
It measures roughly 28.8cm x 17.8cm and is completely unmarked.

Thanks for any information you can give me.

They could have likely been flown near anywhere. This one probably either had ties, which were torn off when the GI grabbed it down, or else eyelets that had it permanently affixed to a stout wire that was easier to simply pull it free from than to cut. Car pennants usually had a weather shield cover or a frame to hold them to the mast on the fender, so I'm thinking it isn't probably from a vehicle.
