This is the only flaw I could find. Small hole and some red ink over-spray from the original production process.

Any opinions? Do you guys think this was a good buy? Altogether from the same seller I acquired an 1891 spanish Mauser, small pennant, national flag, DJ trumpet banner and finally this KM flag.

Looks like a decent KM flag to me. The trouble with these Big guys is the display options are pretty limited. The Smaller sizes actually are higher valued, if you can believe it! A 250 in this condition and nicely marked generally go for 4-500 dollar ranges, depending on the circumstances, of course. A Very iconic flag!

Hi,it looks a good flag to me,i have one that's even bigger than that believe it or not.The weave looks to be the same as mine,as does the rope.Mine is well used and must have flown from a ship or administrative building.
Thanks Will, I am well aware of the trouble of displaying these large sized flags. However, this example is in such pristine condition I couldn't pass it up. It would be hard to upgrade it, IMO . This would be cool to display on the ceiling .

Thank you. So you have a larger one? Wow, must be great looking. I think there's is a reference thread or source here which describes the Flag size designated for a particular size ship of In tonnage.
my flag is for the 500 - 1,500 ton ship size.
.cheers,
Dean.
