    IMO, poor quality embroidery.
    Maybe Bob will post some of his banners here. There is one posted in this thread.

    Strange looking eagle and poorly executed lettering and bird, but it could be a period done trumpet banner, I like the fringe on it....

    Here is one of mine that is for Flak Regiment 26, I. Abteilung ...

    Is your banner made in silk? Isn't strange that the banner i saw is cotton made? Many thanks
