Luftwaffe flight section Battalion commander's vehicle pennant
A Luftwaffe flight section Battalion Commander's vehicle pennant, complete with its original staff
(pole) for affixing to the vehicle fender. This one doesn't have its all-weather cello cover, but still
retains its wire frame. It has some areas at the back of the pennant which have a bit of re-stitching,
probably caused by the removal of the cello cover, but is still in lovely condition.
I have another flight pennant that has its all-weather cover, but is missing the wire frame, and
someone tried to separate the two halves, by un-stitching it but got to the black centre band and
discovered it was going to be too hard, so thankfully left it alone after that, so it has survived nicely
too.
