I purchased this flag about 10 years ago from an antiques shop in Victoria, BC. I have always thought it was the genuine article, but would like a second opinion if you gentlemen would like to share.
dimensions are aprox. 30" x 52". There are a few small holes in the fabric and slight yellowing of the white portions with what looks like an old water stain. The swas is all one piece either printed or dyed, and isn't "double sided?" as the swas is reversed on the opposite side of the flag. It has two stamps along the white portion of the flag where its hung from (pics below), and the bottom of the flag is re-enforced with 6 or 7 rows of stitching.
The water marks make sence as this is actually a flag for a boat.
Cheers, Ade.
