Looks like a poor repro to me.
Thanks mate.
Any opinions please?
Hello,
I agree with BlackCat1982, it's a repro IMO. The seams look quite bad and the proportions are strange.

I don't like it either. Poorly made when compared to original period examples.

Not to "Discredit " anyone, on this assumed "Podium" Banner.. Are there any "Senior" members that can agree or dis-agree on this item.. ? Moderator Coleman ?? I am curious as to the speculation as there has been little or no reason as to authenticity other than "Repro" I would like to see the reasoning of this .. G

I don't care for it. It looks brand new. The cloth it is made of looks improper. It may be a modern made flag for the American Nazi Party or who knows what, but it is not a 71 year old piece of cloth.

The stitching on the roundel is suspect IMO for one detail. Usually they're applied with a more linear stitch, not the crisscrossing shown. In fact, while my experience is still a bit limited, I have not seen any original flags with that stitching pattern. And I agree, there's something about the fabric that doesn't look right.
I actually have in my collection a few podium banners.. I may start a separate thread to see the originality of mine... G
