Is it common to see flags/banners with unseamed top and bottom edges or are they normally seamed on all 4 sides? Flag in question passes black light test, don't want to burn a thread if I don't have to.

Really hard to capture the edges. They are not ragged, it looks like the edge of fabric that would come off of a bolt....I am just not sure if it should have a stitched hem. These are on the top and bottom edges, the short edges have hem and banner pole edge. Black light ok, has a hard to describe odor, and came from John T. I just figured that all 4 edges would all be stitched.
