Blowing up the provided photos, looking closely at the material, printing and stitching, I would feel confident adding this banner into my collection. Looks very nice. Though, I will say that it seems to have strange dimensions in overall construction. I wonder what specifically it was used for?
At the top, where the material is folded and stitched, does it look like you could slide a pole through, or is it completely stitched shut?
.. Also, keep in mind that while the burn test and backlighting are great tools in authentication, they are not absolute. For instance, you can take an original flag and wash it with todays detergent, and it will glow so brightly you could navigate ships by it Also, I can go to Walmart and purchase a cheep pair of track paints from China, take a thread and light it, and it will go up like a fuse.
